Summer's coming!

December 21, 2006

Tomorrow (December 22st) is the Northern Hemisphere's winter solstice. What do you mean, 'I don't know what you're talking about'? Don't you know what the Northern Hemisphere's winter solstice is?!?

Ok, I also didn't know what that was, I just found out a few minutes ago. In short, it's the shortest day of the year, when you live on the Northern hemisphere. Tomorrow, the sun will come up at 8:46AM and it will get dark around 4.30PM. That means that it will be light for only 8 hours tomorrow!

After tomorrow, it will stay light for a longer period of time each day. That means summer is coming. Wooohooo!
