Bye bye, Pluto...

August 15th, 2007

Meet Pluto.

My job is to hurt him.

Pull his nose, bite of his leg, that kind of stuff.

Mission accomplished. Time for some rest.

Django's day out

July 26th, 2007

Earlier this week, we went out for a long walk. You know, exploring the surroundings of our new home. It turns out that it actually is quite a lot of fun to walk around in this new neighborhood. I could even go for a swim!

And after a long walk and a lot of swimming, a Pug needs some rest, of course...

Still alive

June 18th, 2007

No, wait, please don't leave. This blog isn't abandoned. The Ones Who Feed Me Every Day have been really busy with moving and redecorating the past few weeks. Since The Woman Who Feeds Me Every Day is pregnant, I decided to help her out a bit. You know; cuddle a bit, do some sleeping, that kind of stuff.

When I checked my Pugmail, I noticed a few emails with the question if I was still alive. Well, I am!

I'll give you a short update about the past weeks. This is me trying to put everything from the boxes back into the cabinets (I was in denial at the time...).

This also didn't work:

But when we finally moved to the other house, things weren't that bad as I thought they would be. It actually is kind of cool in our new house. I even found a stick in the garden to play with.

But, moving can make you really tired. That's why I do what I'm good at quite often.

What the ...?!?

May 2nd, 2007

I came across these weird, fluffy creatures during one of my daily walks. What the heck are those woolly things doing here?!?

Now I have to go find another tree to pee on...

Herrings & other things

April 25th, 2007

You're probably not familiar with most of the Dutch habits and traditions. And why would you, since you're not Dutch? I'll tell you about an old Dutch tradition; eating raw herring. You have to eat it in the traditional way and the herring is preferably served with raw onions. In almost every city you can find fish stands, which -in most cases- sell herring.
Why am I telling you this? Because herring is delicious!

So, if you're ever in or near The Netherlands, don't forget to try the typical Dutch herring ;)

Oh, and because I've been away for a while, here are some newsflashes:

- The picture gallery is online now. You can email me (info at pugs dot nl) your best shots, if you want to get listed as well ;)

- American toys aren't better than European toys. European toys (which are in most cases Chinese, however) last for about 18-20 minutes, my two American toys both lasted for around 20 minutes as well...

- You can vote for your favorite Pug of the Month finalist in this forum thread. Oh, and Jack (Coralfishg) was last month's winner.

- The last newsflash (yes, I've been saving the best for last) is that I'll be an uncle soon. How cool is that! The Ones Who Feed Me Every Day are expecting a baby in mid December. I can hardly wait!

Three important steps....

... a Pug has to take during a walk.

Resting/ posing

And, of course, letting other dogs know you woz there

Now that's what I call a doggy treat!

That one was good for at least ten minutes of tummy entertainment!

Identity crisis

Look, I'm a Frenchie!

I'm feeling blue

February 15th, 2007

Today is one of those days. One of those days you don't have the energy to do something. One of those days you wish you didn't wake up. Yes, it's one of those days....

The good news is, that today is almost over. I'm sure I'll have the energy to be naughty, to play and to be active again tomorrow. Until then, I think I'll take another nap...

Awww, man!

February 9th, 2007

Yesterday, everything was covered with a one inch layer of the yummy white stuff. When I got outside this morning, everything was gone! The weatherman said that it won't be snowing for at least a week, which means that I won't get a desert after my evening meals :-(

Oh, the March edition of the photo contest has started, by the way. If you want to be March's Pug of the Month, you can post your picture right here.
