Were does everyone buy their sweater for their pugs? I have purchased so many sweaters and seems like the only sweater that Dubbie likes is the one with the slits in the arms not the sleeve. No matter what size sweater I buy her with the sleeve it just annoys her and she will not go for a walk. Unless she is just embarressed of her clothes... LOL |

Hi Dubbie and welcome to the forum. My Pug hates clothes I put him a coat on in bad weather. Not to make him look a fool but to also keep him clean. He gets filthy with mud on his underbelly if it's wet weather. However, he simply hates it and often won't walk so I don't put him in clothes anymore. He's a mans man
You can buy clothes from various doggy websites. Or we have just started a wanted and for sale section on the forum. have a browse and see what is on offer in there. |

lol I used to buy clothes for mine but to be honest she doesn't wear any now. She will have a coat on if it's really cold (for a walk) but other than that I don't put them on her.
I did get some jumpers off ebay. |

I make most of the stuff for mine, as pugs don't often tend to fit into the standard doggy sizes commercially available, lots of the stuff from pet shops etc seems to be for longer, slimmer body shapes than the average shorter, broader pug! They do have some Tee shirts and sweatshirts I have bought, which being stretchy fit OK. For wooly sweaters I had to get some specially knitted by a lady who had a stand at a dog show.
Trouble is with buying dog outfits, there is no standardisation with sizes. Most are labeled Sml Med Lge, or 12", 14" 16". Whilst lots measure withers to tail, some do round the middle, so you jsut have to try on and see.
I didn't know we had a new sales and wanted section, will have a look. When I get my new website going I hope I will be able to post a link to the doggy outfit section. |

Thank you so much for all of your help. At least I know that I am not the only pug owner that is having a hard time getting sweater. |

For my pug allie she has a full wardrobe its kinda sad she as more clothes then me! but she prefers the ones with the slits instead of the sleeves and so do i they fit her a lot better they dont slide down like the ones with sleeves! she had a full one piece swimsuit! and a life jacket for swimming which she loves to do!! |
